Director, GTM FP&A

The Revenue team at Human Interest encompasses Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Customer Onboarding, and Customer Success. The Director, GTM FP&A, will support the Revenue Leadership team in all FP&A activities such as the budget process, forecasting, expense management, and variance analyses. In addition to being a strategic thought partner to the Revenue leadership team, GTM FP&A will be responsible for improving our reporting and forecasting capabilities, offer data-driven insights and recommendations, and provide financial oversight to ensure headcount and expense stay on plan.
What you get to do every day
- Be the FP&A lead supporting our Revenue teams, own financial and headcount planning, performance reporting, and be the primary finance partner to the CRO
- Develop, enhance, and maintain the GTM operating model
- Identify, define, and drive analyses to promote a deep and holistic understanding of business metrics, growth drivers, trends, and identify improvement areas and opportunities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes for the Revenue organization, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning
- Act as the strategic thought partner to the Revenue Organization, helping to identify, scope, and execute upon new initiatives
- Own outcomes in their entirety: from ideation and strategy to in-the-weeds delivery of results
- Support IPO readiness through managing financial metrics and benchmarks, preparation of supporting materials, and execution with potential investors
- While the role will begin as an Individual Contributor role, it is expected that this role will eventually have a small team supporting the successful candidate
- Remote location preferred (ideally Mountain or Central time zones)
What you bring to the role
- 7+ years of finance experience at an investment bank, consulting firm, or finance/strategy at a high-growth/startup company
- Experience providing finance support to sales and/or marketing functions
- Excellent business partnering and communication skills
- Knowledge of SaaS business models and experience in analyzing SaaS metrics
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with big picture strategic understanding
- High degree of comfort with ambiguity; ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Growth mindset, curiosity and scrappiness
- Excellent communication skills - ability to collaborate across functions and levels throughout the company, as well as with external partners
- Experience with the IPO process and/or experience supporting public company finance processes a plus

Compensation - The salary range for this role is between $190,000 - $215,000. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, and may vary by location. Exact compensation will be determined by the candidates' skills, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards, short-term incentives, or sales compensation.
