Director, Treasury Operations

We are looking for a Head of Treasury Operations to join Snap Inc! Reporting to the VP of Capital Markets, this leader would be responsible for leading the day to day treasury operations of Snap including cash management, currency management, and all liquidity programs.
While Snap is headquartered in Santa Monica, we have demonstrated that we can be creative and productive while working physically apart over the past year and a half. Snap is committed to hybrid work over the long term, and as a result there is significant flexibility regarding the location where an individual in this role can be based within the continental United States.
What you’ll do:
Partner across the finance and operational teams to ensure we build the Treasury operations necessary to serve the long term strategic needs of Snap including hiring and developing team members as well as building the systems and mechanisms necessary to serve the growing scale of our business.
Work collaboratively across finance and business operations teams to identify liquidity needs and operationalize cash management programs in order to meet business objectives.
Manage our global network of banking relationships including identifying new partners where needed, leading integration efforts, and leveraging the capabilities of our banking partners to meet the operational needs of our business.
Partner with our finance and operational teams to build cash forecasting and implement cash management programs that align to the liquidity needs of the business
Forecast and quantify currency exposure and employ strategies to manage currency risk across our global business.
Build strong relationships with the broader Finance team, supporting ad hoc requests and projects
Help drive and deliver continuous improvement in processes and procedures within the Treasury function
Lead and develop a team of Treasury professionals and contribute to the overall leadership development of Snap’s global Finance organization
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences
High level of critical and logical thinking and comfort with ambiguity
Ability to create and build collaborative working relationships across divisions, functions, and levels
Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified, and assist with various ad hoc projects as needed
Self-starter, able to thrive in a creative environment
Strong project management skills with a drive to meet organizational objectives
Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize; able to navigate complex organizations
Attention to detail in all areas of work
A strong desire to build and be part of building a leading global technology company

Minimum qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Finance
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred qualifications:
MBA, CPA, CFA or equivalent
