We are seeking a Director, Finance to join our fast-growing organization. As a trusted partner to the Managing Directors of our Business Units, the Director will be responsible for providing key insights on monthly financial performance to improve results, examine client trends, and work with key stakeholders to identify and solve business challenges. This role will also play a key role in Bounteous x Accolite's budgeting and forecasting processes. The right candidate has the ability to “think outside the box” and understands this role is more than just spreadsheets.
The Director, Finance reports to the Head of FP&A and will have direct visibility to Bounteous x Accolite's executive management.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison to Managing Directors by managing forecasts and continually evaluating financial results to recommend new opportunities and risks
- Utilize reporting system to improve financial performance dashboards across each Business Unit
- Improve client revenue forecasting to provide greater visibility on future demand and prepare profitability scenario analyses of our global delivery centers
- Serve cross-functionally across the business to create visibility into financial performance and understand key operational metrics
- Provide guidance in the development of each Business Unit’s long-term plans, including the continual assessments of key clients, quantification of risks and opportunities, and ROI evaluations to help inform strategic investments
- Collaborate with Head of FP&A to continually improve annual budget process and assist organization in preparing a consolidated plan
- Work with large datasets; collaborate with others to develop easy-to-understand presentations for dissemination to leadership teams
- Gain in-depth knowledge of multiple data systems to mine data efficiently and determine key takeaways
- Identify and work with key stakeholders to improve systems and processes as the company scales its global operations
- Mentor, guide, and support the professional development of junior team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience working within professional services (consulting, investment banking, private equity) required
- A strong track record of reporting and financial analysis, preferably in a high-growth, private equity organization involving M&A and/or sale processes
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent financial modeling skills
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
- Collaborative and adaptable; a strong communicator across a variety of teams to achieve desired outcomes and build relationships
- An outstanding executive presence; excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills appropriate for senior leadership-level engagement
- Experience with reporting tools such as Vena Solutions, NetSuite, and/or Salesforce a plus
- Three-statement model familiarity a plus
