Director of Finance, Global Operations
Summary
The Finance Director role is a key business partner to the Global Operations Management team and a pivotal conduit between the regional finance teams, Corporate Finance and Operations Management. This role has an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively across a wide range of stakeholders and have a direct influence on the financial and strategic direction of the Global Operations organization.
The role has three key areas:• Manage the global financial planning activities of Global Operations. Including the coordination of regional submissions, consolidation of management reporting data and presentation outputs.• Commercial business partner to the Operations Management team to create valuable business insights, improvement ideas and aid project execution.• Partner with the VP Operations Finance to build up business cases, run due diligence processes and analytics to support strategic initiatives.
What you'll do
• Manage the construction, collation and communication of the Operations planning process for quarterly reforecasts, the annual plan and the 3 year strategic plan.
• Maintain data integrity, construct messaging, communicate process and manage delivery to deadlines.
• Manage the reporting of performance to plans monthly to the Operations Management team including the integration of both historical financial performance with forward looking operational forecasts. Create insight, exception driven and future focused financial outputs.

  • Partner with the operational teams to make GOF finance an integrated part of the wider operations team.
  • Drive insight, challenge and partner to help deliver on operations commitments.
  • Partner and support VP Operations Finance and VP level Operations Management as required to evaluate, model, present strategic initiatives.
  • Be the GOF finance champion in future organization transformation.
  • Lead the implementation of new reporting tools, financial systems and process change for GOF finance globally.


What we're looking for
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent field of study
  • Must have +10 yrs work experience with +5 years of experience in a corporate environment
  • Must have solid financial analysis skills and understanding of accounting. Prefer qualified Accountant but not required.
  • Experience directly supporting Supply Chain or operations teams
