Eaton's Electrical Division is currently seeking a Lead Pricing Analyst to join our team. This position can be hybrid based in Raleigh, NC. Asheville, NC or Woodridge, IL.

Relocation will be provided!

Position Overview:

The lead pricing analyst reports into the pricing manager and will be focused primarily on channel pricing across the division. This role will identify and translate market opportunities into actionable recommendations to achieve division revenue and profit targets. The lead pricing analyst will analyze market trends and competitive positions to develop, review and approve pricing recommendations for all business units, contributing to price goals. The role will also identify and eliminate price leakage through process improvement, while managing a team of front-end analysts responsible for agreement management.

In this function you will:

  • Collaborate with product management and business leaders to ensure that channel pricing authorizations are aligned to profit plan and product line goals
  • Execute product line pricing strategies to optimize price realization while efficiently and effectively responding to business opportunities, balancing business growth and gross margin targets
  • Serve as an escalation point for channel negotiations and understanding the market dynamics
  • Support proper implementation of the channel pricing strategy within the Americas
  • Work with division pricing manager as subject matter experts on division channel pricing best practices
  • Manage a team of pricing analyst focused on channel pricing agreements
  • Review and approve D-IT concessions for agent and data center sales teams in bidmanager


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or in Lieu of Bachelor's degree 5 years pricing experience
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in pricing, marketing or sales support
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • Must live or be willing to relocate with 50 miles of Raleigh, NC or Ashville, NC or Woodridge, IL


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or marketing field from an accredited institution
  • Five years of progressive experience in pricing, marketing or sales support required and/or business & analysis management
  • Experience with leading and managing teams
  • Experience with channel sales and multi-tier distribution


Position Criteria:

  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, problem-solving capability and a track record of leveraging data analyses to define and implement successful process improvements through tools/systems, automation, and standardization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and organization savvy, teaming, collaborating, coaching, challenging assumptions and giving powerful feedback with tact and respect, sharing knowledge
  • Strong business acumen in order to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams ranging from IT, field sales, marketing, product lines, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, in virtual teams (across different locations), and cross-cultural environments
