Primary Responsibilities

As an Associate Payroll Accountant in our Omaha Corporate Office, you will be performing a wide range of duties supporting the United States payroll processes. Your duties will include but not limited to payroll processing, payroll reconciliations and auditing employee master data for tax withholding and payroll compliance. This position will perform a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities, including computing wage and overtime payments, calculating, and recording payroll deductions, processing off-cycle checks and terminations, data entry, document retention, updating spreadsheets, and responding to employee inquiries.

The successful candidate must have a strong attention to detail, administer job duties with a high level of precision and accuracy, and have a team player attitude. Candidate will be expected to complete assigned duties within the established timeline, while maintaining compliance with the payroll regulations of the region.

There may also be an opportunity to perform various global payroll and time related processes. This new position may be cross-trained and provide support to multiple payroll teams, in addition to holding primary responsibility for the US payroll and other duties.

Qualifications

Qualification

  • Associates Degree preferred. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of previous United States payroll experience preferred
  • CPP/FPC is a plus
  • In-house, multi-state payroll experience preferred.
  • MS Office proficiency including above average Excel capabilities.
  • Oracle experience preferred.
  • A/E/C industry experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team oriented and willingness to learn new things.
  • International payroll experience a plus.
  • Preference given to local candidates.
