The Corporate Development Associate will support the sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and execution of mergers and acquisitions as Gopuff rapidly accelerates its expansion efforts across the United States, Western Europe, and beyond. This is a great opportunity to be a key contributor on the Corporate Development team and to evaluate strategic transactions related to geographic expansion, new vertical / category extension, and technology capabilities acceleration in an exciting, fast- paced environment.
Responsibilities

    • Assist in executing the Company's strategy for inorganic growth, including geographic expansion, new vertical / category extension, and technology capabilities acceleration
    • Analyze, value, and assist in the execution of strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, and
    • partnership opportunities
    • Conduct in depth company and market analysis, including research on market share, competitive position, and growth opportunities
    • Support the due diligence process from term sheet negotiation through closing and integration
    • Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects
    • Key contributor on the Corporate Development team working cross-functionally with members of the Business Operations, Strategic Operations, Finance, Real Estate, Legal, and Government Affairs teams
    • Support relationships with investment bankers, founders, management teams, business brokers, lawyers, and other deal sources
    • Ability to travel to support diligence efforts for various projects & transactions as needed

    • Qualifications

    • Ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture
    • capital, corporate development, business development, management consulting, or other related
    • field
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and valuation
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
    • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and enjoys solving complex problems
    • A highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to exercise independent judgment and critical
    • thinking
    • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with
    • others cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the organization. Must be comfortable
    • working within a fast paced, team-oriented environment
