AP

  • Accurately processing all invoices and expense reimbursements
  • Conducting all aspects of weekly check run and other payments via ACH, Wire etc
  • Resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Reconciling vendor statements
  • Communicating regularly with vendors and employees
  • Administering and reconciling monthly company credit accounts
  • Assisting in preparing annual 1099 forms as needed
  • Coordinating and monitoring all vendor setup forms
  • Reconciling AP related accounts monthly
  • Providing aged payables reporting and other ad hoc reporting on a weekly basis to management
  • Making recommendations for process improvements
  • Documenting all processes and procedure related to the AP function
  • Keeping manager informed of activities and any significant issues
  • Administrative tax matters as needed
  • Reconciling other simple general ledger accounts
  • Other finance/accounting will be assigned as needed

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or higher-level education in accounting or related field is required
  • 3+ years of overall combined experience in AP required
  • Can do attitude with a focus on servicing our customers both internal and external
  • Preference will be given to those that show strength in problem-solving ability
  • Experience with creating AP reporting and simple reconciliations
  • Experience with month-end/year end close process
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Accounting software experience with preference being given to mid to large sized ERPs such as NetSuite
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and sense of urgency


Nice to Have

  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred
  • ERP implementation experience preferred
  • Experience using Google Workspace
