Responsibilities
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to play an important role in IGT's Global Gaming Accounting organization. Reporting to the Global Gaming Controller, this position is primarily responsible for internal management reporting and coordinating and monitoring external audit requests as well as assisting in cross-functional global process initiatives.
Duties include:
- Coordinating, preparing and/or presenting key financial reports for management and/or external auditors
- Interacting with multiple levels of team members of the organization including Finance, Compliance, Corporate Accounting and global accounting groups
- Preparing and/or review of accounting related regulatory compliance filings
- Supporting segment Global Gaming Controller
- Facilitating monthly and quarterly meetings related to financial statement close process and flux analysis
- Blackline's account reconciliation and task administration and support
- Assisting and or leading corporate or local accounting project Initiatives aimed at process improvements, best practices and operational efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in accounting and prior team lead experience is highly preferred
- Experience in various accounting areas
- SAP software experience preferred
- SOX and SEC reporting experience preferred
- Understanding of U.S. audit rules and regulations
- Project management
- Bachelor's degree; Masters preferred Advanced degree, CPA or special skill related to position or equivalent
