Analyses key themes using data from a wide range of sources and identifies possible impacts on the business.
Writes and edits materials for a variety of target populations, tailoring the tone and content to match the needs and expectations of each audience.
Delivers prescribed outcomes for a designated area of financial control by working within established systems.
Grows own capabilities by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities and develops the capabilities of direct reports by working within existing development framework; provides specialised training or coaching in area of expertise to others throughout the organisation.
Identifies shortcomings and suggests improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures, then delivers a plan for a small element of a change management programme with guidance from a project/programme manager.
Sets short term objectives and helps manage the performance of direct reports by working within performance management systems.
Analyses specified problems and issues to find the best technical and/or professional solutions.
Develops and/or delivers budget plans for own area with guidance from senior colleagues.
Manage relationships with important internal customers and act as their business partner, while taking guidance from senior colleagues.
Develops procedures and interprets and applies policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advises the wider business on application of policy, then monitors implementation of those procedures within the organisation.
Skills Required
- Experience managing a team or operating as a functional specialist
- Ability to analyse complex data from multiple sources and identify business impacts
- Strong written communication and editing skills tailored to different audiences, including senior stakeholders
- Experience delivering financial control outcomes within established systems
- Experience developing and delivering budget plans for an area of responsibility
- Experience in change management, able to deliver elements of a programme with guidance
- Stakeholder management and business partnering with internal customers
- Experience developing procedures, interpreting policy, and monitoring implementation
- Coaching, training or people development experience and performance management of direct reports
