Your Role
This role encompasses a broad spectrum of compliance and financial leadership responsibilities, including:
Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the Munich-based Finance team, empowering them to achieve excellence and deliver meaningful impact.
Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of high-quality financial reports while ensuring compliance and robust financial controls across regional offices.
Process Optimization: Drive the optimization of financial processes, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and adaptability to meet the demands of a dynamic business environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with local and global teams to align finance strategies with broader organizational objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Actively contribute to quarterly and annual reviews, providing insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Leadership Culture: Foster a coaching-focused, feedback-driven environment that supports team growth and development.
Qualifications
- University degree with focus on Finance or a related field
- 5+ years of experience within the area of Finance, ideally with exposure to shared services across multiple locations
- 2+ years of proven leadership experience; you have successfully led, developed, and enabled teams
- Extensive experience in finance with a focus on cross-border activities within the DACH region
- Profound knowledge of German financial regulations and practices (HGB, German tax laws); familiarity with Swiss or Austrian financial legislation is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
