Job Mission

As Senior Business Controller you act as a strong business partner in one of ASML’s Sector Management teams by managing and deploying worldwide operational measures and processes. You will provide transparent information to enable and drive effective decision making in achieving our strategic objectives.

Job Description

• Partner with and drive the business to achieve their short and long term objectives;

• Be bridge builders among sectors and business lines, with independent (finance) view on what is best for the company as a whole;

• Drive optimization and improvement of processes, standardization of worldwide reporting and insight-driven analyses to satisfy the need for management information;

• Drive the business review cycle;

• Participate in business improvement projects and validate the business cases;

• Identify (business and financial) risks and opportunities;

• Execute ad hoc analysis and reporting;

• Drive the monthly, yearly and long term Financial Planning processes for the Sector and Value stream.

• The main interfaces of the Senior Business Controller are the (S)VP of the Sector and his direct reports, other Business Controllers of sectors and Business lines and the Supporting Financial Control and Accounting groups.

Education

• Master degree in Business Administration, preferably followed by a chartered controller qualification (such as CPA or equivalent)

• Fluent in English

Experience

• About 15 years in Finance roles, including at least 5 years in Business Control as part of a Management Team, in large-size international industrial companies, preferably in complex technology businesses.

• Track record in financial and business control at business unit, divisional or group level.
