We are looking for an accomplished Financial Process & Operations Manager (d/f/m) to join our Finance Integration Team in Berlin. The team is responsible for the localization of global processes and services into Kleinanzeigen and the ongoing execution of those.

For this role, we are looking for a senior professional who helps us holistically oversee and continuously optimize our Order-to-Cash setup.

In this individual contributor role you will ensure accurate and timely execution and compliance of billing, payment, dunning and collection processes.

You will report to the local Finance Integration Lead. This is a hybrid role and our office is based in Berlin Charlottenburg.

What you will do

• Identify improvement areas and take ownership to coordinate necessary changes
• Act as a key stakeholder in transformation of Order-to-Cash operations
• Ensure Order-to-Cash processes scale with Kleinanzeigen's growth aspirations
• Collaborate with internal and external partners (Customers, Accounting & Controlling, FP&A, Treasury, Sales, Salesforce Team, external vendors)
• Support billing process: Prepare reporting, reconcile data, arrange adjustments, perform checks and approvals, handle disputes
• Support payments process: Manage cash application, re-allocation, non-linked payments, refunds, chargebacks
• Support collections process: Manage Accounts receivable, Bad Debt Reporting and Provisioning, manage outsourced collection agencies, Dunning, Suspensions, Reactivation, Write Offs, Managing Payment Plans
• Ensure compliance with our internal policies and procedures
• Support internal and external audits

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• You are proficient in Order-to-Cash processes with both private and commercial customers.
• You are experienced with transformation projects and change management.
• You are knowledgeable in financial accounting and reporting across balance sheet and P&L.
• You are fluent in English (verbal and written), German is a big plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced) for financial analysis and Google Sheets
• Knowledge of SAP (S4), Salesforce, accounting principles, financial controls and auditing processes

Experience:

8+ years of experience in the Order-to-Cash / Finance Operations area, preferably in services sectors or digital companies.
