Finance & Operations Analyst

Skylo is a global Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) service provider based in Mountain View, CA, offering a service that allows smartphone and IoT cellular devices to connect directly over existing satellites. Skylo’s direct-to-device service is now live on millions of activated devices across five continents, in partnership with multiple satellite operators, mobile network operators (MNOs), Tier-1 chipset makers, and OEMs. Our focus is on enabling connected services for people outdoors and connected workflows across mass-market consumer devices, automotive, and industrial IoT.

Skylo is hiring a Finance and Operations Analyst to help fulfill Skylo’s mission of making satellite connectivity available to all by building the financial backbone of our commercial engine. This individual will be a key partner to the Go-To-Market (GTM) team, responsible for building robust financial models and operational processes that scale with our global growth. You will translate sales activity and projections into actionable financial insights, ensuring our modeling, workflows, and reporting are as seamless as our connectivity solutions.

• Financial Modeling & Strategy: 
• Support monthly revenue forecasting, variance analysis, revenue share processes, and executive reporting
• Assist in annual planning and scenario modeling tied to GTM assumptions
• Help translate GTM strategy into financial targets and operating metrics
• Support sales negotiations via pricing modeling as needed
• Act as a primary GTM data manager, research 3rd party data sources for improved forecasting accuracy as needed
• Prepare dashboards, narratives, and analyses for Finance leadership and executives
• Clearly communicate insights, risks, and opportunities tied to top-line performance
• Act as a thought partner on what metrics matter as Skylo scales

GTM & Revenue Analytics

• Build and maintain revenue and cost models across customers, partners, products, and regions.  
• Support pricing, deal economics, and unit economics analysis for new and existing GTM motions
• Analyze top-line performance drivers (pricing, volume, churn, ramp curves, pipeline conversion)

Operations & Process Support

• Design and implement cross-functional workflows between Sales, Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence such as order to cash and procure to pay to ensure operational rigor
• Manage and optimize the flow of commercial data across key data warehouses such as Skylo’s CRM, ERP, Data Lake and Forecasting systems
• Identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy, reporting automation, and operational efficiency

• 2-4 years of experience in finance, revenue/sales operations, or business analytics, preferably within a high-growth tech or consulting environment.  Big 4 experience is a plus.
• Strong foundational knowledge of the three financial statements and how GTM activities impact the P&L.
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Strong analytical foundation with comfort working in large, imperfect datasets
• Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (models, scenarios, sensitivity analysis)
• Working knowledge of SQL, BI tools, or data visualization platforms is preferred
• Ability to translate complex analyses into clear business insights
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to cross-functional stakeholders
• Detail-oriented, structured thinker with a bias toward ownership and execution
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
• Strong interest in GTM strategy, revenue growth, and business fundamentals

Additional information

The base compensation range for this position is: $123,200 - $130,900 plus equity. This range reflects the low and high end of the range Skylo reasonably and generally expects to pay the hired candidate in this role.
