Finance & Operations Analyst

We’re looking for a full-time Finance & Operations Analyst who’s excited to dig in and help support the financial and operational tasks that keep our business running and investors engaged. This is a great opportunity to learn more about finance, operations, and real estate investing while gaining real-world work experience. 

In this role, you will:

• Help build and/or update reports that support the operations and finance team
• Assist with the distribution process for our investors, ensuring returns earned from investments are  accurately distributed to investors on time
• Maintain and clean up data in various places
• Coordinate cross-functionally to execute daily tasks related to investment and investor operations
• Support ancillary team tasks as needed (i.e. compliance, corporate finances, etc.)

We are looking for someone who:

• 0-2 years of relevant work experience in an operational and/or finance capacity
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Can balance workload in deadline-oriented scenarios
• Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Obsessive attention to detail with a reliable, consistent approach to work
• Team player with a humble attitude and a strong willingness/desire to learn

These qualifications would give you a leg up:

• Familiarity with finance and accounting procedures
• Prior experience working in a demanding, fast-paced startup environment
• Experience using Excel in a professional setting,
• Experience with SalesForce or similar CRM
• Experience with tax documents like Form K-1 and 1099s

The Details:

• The target salary range for this role based in New York City is $70,000 plus significant variable compensation based on achievement of certain targets.

• This position is based out of our NYC office. We operate in a hybrid work mode with Tuesdays and Thursdays as our core in-office days.
