This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of individual contributors responsible for the financial oversight of purchased parts, internal make parts, and raw material expenditures, including physical inventory.
- Timely consolidate and analyze financial data including budget, forecast and actuals reconciliations, period-to-period variance analysis, and cost deviation with variance explanations for the bill of material and physical inventory.
- Drive improved business insight, through financial metrics, to drive organizational accountability and performance.
- Support reviews and present data in cohesive reports that provide understanding of the financial inputs, clear communication and provide guidance on operating decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3-5 years in a Finance Manager or related role
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, math or related field
- Strong people management, intrapersonal, and communication skills (written/verbal) with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, with strong intellectual curiosity
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage projects and tasks that require cross-functional coordination

Summary Pay Range: $95,250 - $146,050
