About the role
As Finance Planning & Analysis Manager, you will play a key role in steering IQVIA Netherlands’ financial performance across all business units. Acting as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership, you will combine strong analytical capabilities with commercial insight to support decision-making, drive transparency, and continuously improve financial processes.
This is a hands-on, business-facing FP&A role with real exposure to country leadership, offering the opportunity to influence strategy, improve performance, and develop a strong understanding of IQVIA’s commercial model in a dynamic healthcare environment.
What you will do
Financial planning, forecasting & reporting
- Lead the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process for Revenue and Costs across IQVIA Netherlands
- Own the in-quarter revenue and cost forecasting cycle, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and timely insights for senior management
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly actuals reporting (Revenue, Costs, FTE, CAPEX, DSO, D&A), in close collaboration with local and offshore Accounting teams
Business partnering & insight
- Act as a finance partner to the General Manager, Sales, Commercial and Functional leaders
- Provide clear analysis of performance, risks, and opportunities to support business decisions
- Challenge assumptions and forecasts constructively to ensure ambitious yet realistic targets
- Support operating reviews, strategic planning sessions, and budget reviews with high-quality financial insights
Governance, systems & process improvement
- Advise on US GAAP and internal revenue recognition policies
- Design, coordinate, and manage analytical accounting across all Dutch legal entities, from statutory to performance accounting
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, data flows, and reporting quality
- Prepare ad‑hoc analyses using systems such as SAP, Hyperion, SFDC, and other data sources
Team & stakeholder management
- Build strong relationships with local and regional finance and operations teams
- Respond to ad-hoc requests and manage finance-related projects across business units
- Line management of a Revenue Analyst (depending on scope and experience)
What you bring
Experience & education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Management
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Business Controlling, Audit, or Commercial Finance
- Experience working in a complex, matrix-driven organization is a strong plus
Technical & analytical skills
- Solid understanding of financial systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Salesforce)
- Knowledge of local regulations and US GAAP
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; comfortable working with large datasets
- Ability to translate business questions into meaningful financial insights
Soft skills & mindset
- Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication skills and confidence in influencing stakeholders
