The Finance team is the backbone of our business and has grown from being internal accounting and finance to a major function that supports all areas of the business, including assessing financial implications from various key strategic decisions and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Orchestrating the preparation of comprehensive financial statements, including project-specific Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and Changes in Equity, ensuring they align with business objectives and are prepared in compliance with IFRS standards.
• Developing and presenting a Finance Deck Report for monthly performance evaluations, offering strategic solutions and corrective action plans.
• Leading Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Performance Management functions; designing various MIS and financial reports focused on performance drivers, risks, and opportunities. Sharing insights with senior management for informed decision-making.
• Evaluating organizational funding requirements and formulating annual departmental and long-term business financial plans.
• Conducting variance analysis between budgeted and actual figures, implementing necessary actions and controls to improve financial performance.
• Performing financial due diligence on commercial contracts prior to approval, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Championing cost reduction initiatives to optimize operations while maintaining business excellence and profitability.
• Supervising Cash Management, working capital, and investments; accurately forecasting and managing long- and short-term cash flows.
• Driving process improvement by implementing corrective action plans and continuous enhancement measures for optimal resource utilization.
• Designing and establishing systems, policies, and procedures to strengthen internal financial and process controls, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
• Maintaining strict oversight of all internal control processes within the Finance department.
• Drafting and reviewing official correspondence, business agreements, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensuring the accuracy of financial reports in compliance with IFRS standards and monitoring and finalizing monthly GST and TDS returns.
• Negotiating with banks for trade facilities to enhance financial leverage and support business growth.
• Supervising and managing all cash and bank payments, ensuring timely execution and smooth operational flow.
• Managing comprehensive audit requirements, overseeing the audit process from inception to finalization.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative and transparent financial environment.
• Providing timely explanations for variances between actual results and budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Reviewing Accounts Payable (AP) tracker and payments to ensure effective vendor management and securing optimal pricing with vendors.
• Conducting thorough analyses of manpower costs and headcount to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and reporting, driving continuous improvement in financial processes.
• Supervising invoicing, accounting, reporting, and collection processes, ensuring the timely and accurate execution of financial activities.
• Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain robust internal controls.
• Fostering a culture of financial transparency and accountability across departments.
• Implementing strategic financial initiatives that align with organizational goals and improve profitability.
• Mentoring junior finance staff, enhancing team capabilities and ensuring succession planning within the finance department.

Your Backstory

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in financial management.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, variance analysis, and risk management.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, GST, TDS, and other regulatory standards.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Expertise in cost management and process optimization.
• Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights for business growth.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred).
