Ready to take your career global?
Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Financial Manager to join our ever-evolving Finance Team and help shape the future of global commerce. As an individual contributor, you’ll provide financial leadership and technical expertise that help the business understand performance, evaluate opportunities, and plan confidently for the future. Through advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis, you’ll translate complex information into clear recommendations that influence strategic and operational decisions. You’ll partner with leaders across the organization, strengthen financial controls, and guide compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements while driving improvements that support Global Payments’ mission, financial integrity, and sustainable growth.
What you'll own:
- Shape financial plans and forecasts by delivering accurate, forward-looking analysis that helps leaders manage performance, anticipate risks, and pursue sustainable growth opportunities.
- Influence strategic business decisions by translating profit-and-loss results, economic trends, and financial scenarios into clear recommendations for investments, products, and commercial initiatives.
- Strengthen financial performance and accountability by identifying key business drivers, explaining variances, and recommending actions that improve revenue, expense management, and operating outcomes.
- Protect financial integrity and compliance by providing technical guidance on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, internal controls, financial policies, and ongoing monitoring activities.
- Advance financial insight and operational efficiency by improving models, dashboards, reporting processes, and analytical tools while providing guidance that elevates the quality and consistency of financial analysis across teams.
What you'll bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, supported by progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, accounting, or financial performance management.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, profit-and-loss management, revenue and expense drivers, budgeting, operating forecasts, and financial controls.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial-modelling skills, with demonstrated success analysing complex data, evaluating scenarios, and delivering actionable recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare executive-ready reporting and influence stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Operations, and business leadership.
- A self-directed and accountable approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities, exercise independent judgment, meet critical deadlines, and lead process improvements without direct people-management responsibility.
It's a bonus if you have:
- An advanced degree or professional certification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience with Hyperion Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS), Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or a similar financial platform.
- Experience providing technical guidance on SOX compliance, improving financial controls, or leading cross-functional finance initiatives.
