About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and deliver accurate financial reporting to support management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS/IFRS
- Audit Readiness: Maintain audit-ready documentation and liaise with external auditors
- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely submission of corporate tax, SST, and other statutory filings
- Process Improvement: Streamline accounting workflows and strengthen internal controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax and statutory compliance
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
- At least 1–2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance
- Hands-on experience handling a full set of accounts
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
