Job DescriptionThe Finance Manager serves as a key financial partner to internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, contract delivery, and adherence to corporate policies. This role oversees client invoicing, cost allocations, and period-end close activities while driving strategic planning, forecasting, and insightful management reporting. Acting as a bridge between operational teams and leadership, the Finance Manager provides the financial analysis necessary to support decision-making, mitigate risk, and optimize account performance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Governance and Operations
- Oversee the end-to-end financial transaction process, ensuring accurate client invoicing and vendor purchase order management.
- Validate intercompany agreements and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Review and approve client invoices and supplier expenditures in alignment with the Delegation of Authority (DoA).
- Ensure rigorous adherence to accounting standards, financial controls, and SOX requirements in partnership with the Financial Control team.
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budget development and monthly re-forecasting processes, providing critical oversight and strategic challenge to assumptions.
- Leverage advanced financial tools (Excel, Power BI, AI-driven applications) to automate reporting and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Perform complex cost allocations and financial modeling to ensure accurate contract profitability reporting.
Reporting & Strategic Analysis
- Consolidate contract-level performance data to provide a clear financial narrative at the sub-regional or sector level.
- Maintain standardized financial and operational KPI reporting to monitor delivery and ROI.
- Deliver high-level variance analysis, proactively identifying risks, growth opportunities, and performance drivers for senior leadership.
- Translate complex financial data into actionable insights to inform Regional and Enterprise Sector strategy.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to Regional and Enterprise Sector leadership, communicating performance expectations and financial results.
- Review, challenge, and validate financial assumptions to ensure business activities align with organizational goals.
- Foster a collaborative environment by building strong working relationships across cross-functional teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying process efficiencies and areas for cost optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree required; CPA, CMA, or similar professional qualification highly preferred.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in financial management, controllership, or FP&A in complex environments.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, revenue recognition, and SOX governance.
- Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., D365, Peoplesoft, Ariba, OneStream) is a significant advantage.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in revenue recognition and contract accounting.
- Leadership and people management skills, with experience developing and motivating teams.
- Ability to manage across a diverse portfolio of contracts, prioritizing issues and interventions.

- Accountability: High degree of personal ownership regarding the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting and models.
