Role Overview
As systemsGo India Finance manager, you will be a senior accounting representative responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial operations for the India entity within the region, plus providing additional support to the APAC team as required. You will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting functions, cash flow, compliance, and process improvements, while supporting the overall financial strategy of the organization. Additionally, you will oversee the Indian entity administrative tasks and payroll operations, and coordinate audit and tax activities to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of transactions into the general ledger.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet) in line with accrual accounting principles.
- Manage the month-end closing process, including preparing adjusting journal entries (e.g., accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions) and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Liaise with local tax authorities and compliance accountants to ensure adherence to tax laws and company regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors to provide necessary information, resolve queries, and ensure a smooth audit process.
AP, AR, Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
- Oversee accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, credit approvals, cash collections, and resolving billing discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable (AP), including vendor invoice processing, payment approvals, and timely payments via internet banking or other methods.
- Monitor and forecast cash flow, manage bank reconciliations, and coordinate with local banks for accounts, credit facilities, and loans.
Process Improvement & Systems Management:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems (e.g., general ledger, timesheet systems, purchase order systems).
India Admin & Payroll Management:
- Oversee and manage all administrative tasks related to India operations, including office management, vendor contracts, and compliance with local labor laws.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of India payroll, including salary calculations, tax withholdings, MPF contributions, and other statutory requirements.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and tax matters, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Collaboration & Support:
- Provide financial insights and support to General Managers to aid in business strategy execution.
- Collaborate with the CFO and Regional Finance Manager on special projects and initiatives across the region.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA/CA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a regional or multi-entity environment.
- Should have global exposure.
- Strong knowledge of local tax laws and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SFDC, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Skills Required

- Proficiency with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, SFDC, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
- Experience managing month-end close, GL entries, reconciliations, accruals and intercompany transactions
- Experience overseeing AP, AR, cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations
- Experience managing payroll, statutory withholdings, and local payroll compliance (MPF contributions etc.)
- Experience coordinating audits and tax filings with auditors and tax authorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
