As a statutory manager you are responsible for leading a team and driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate and compliant statutory financial statements. This role is essential to ensure financial compliance and integrity in statutory reporting.
Further responsibilities include:
- Lead a diverse team through promotion of continuous learning and improvement, culture of innovation, and team synergy to support team and organizational goals.
- Strategically plan and develop team’s initiatives associated KPIs in ensuring clear alignment towards achieving the overall organizational goals.
- Managing the execution of compliant and efficient statutory financial audits
- Evaluating, maintaining and improving the efficiency of financial and statutory accounting processes
- Reviewing statutory financial statements and audit pack for accuracy and compliance with local statutory accounting standards and regulations
- Executing on audit requests by working closely with functional team, operations, tax, legal, company secretary and finance
- investigating any audit issue to allow resolution with supporting documentation
- Monitoring analytical support, and variance analysis for S2G Walk
Fuel your passion
- 12 - 15 years with 7 - 10 years people leader’s experience.
- Hands-on experience in Statutory and Financial Reporting
- Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and OHADA
- Strong experience in financial analysis and analytical review of account movements and exceptions.
- Exposure to support in internal and external audits.
- Experience in Management reporting — preparation of management reports and KPIs
