Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and execution-oriented Finance Manager to own and scale TeraWatt’s investment governance processes. This role partners closely with the CFO and cross-functional leaders to ensure investment decisions are disciplined, well-structured, and aligned with company priorities.

This role is responsible for managing the Investment Committee (IC) process end-to-end, improving the quality and consistency of deal evaluation, and driving execution on key finance initiatives. It is a high-impact position with visibility across senior leadership and direct influence on how strategic decisions are made.

Success in this role means establishing a structured and scalable Investment Committee (IC) process that is consistently followed across the organization. Investment materials are clear, high-quality, and decision-ready, enabling efficient and informed discussions. IC meetings run smoothly, remain focused on key priorities, and result in clear decisions and next steps. In parallel, key finance initiatives are well-coordinated and progressing on schedule, with strong alignment and engagement across cross-functional stakeholders throughout the investment process.

Core Responsibilities

    Investment Committee (IC) Governance
    • Own and manage the end-to-end IC process, from deal intake through final decision and follow-up

    • Partner with the CFO and leadership team to prioritize agenda topics and ensure alignment on key decisions

    • Review investment materials (memos, models, business cases) to ensure clarity, rigor, and decision-readiness

    • Facilitate IC meetings to drive focused, efficient discussions and clear outcomes

    • Track decisions and action items, ensuring accountability and follow-through across teams

    • Continuously improve IC processes to balance speed, transparency, and disciplined financial oversight

    • Strategic Finance & Execution
      • Support execution of high-priority initiatives led by the CFO

      • Drive coordination across Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and progress on key projects

      • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and decision-making tools

      • Fundraising & Capital Planning Support
        • Assist in preparing investor materials, including presentations, data rooms, and financial analyses

        • Support due diligence and execution for debt and equity transactions

        • Help coordinate capital planning and investment tracking across the organization

Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

    • 7+ years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, consulting, or corporate development

    • Experience supporting executive-level decision-making processes (e.g., Investment Committee, board, or leadership forums)

    • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights

    • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to or working with senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with investment committees, transactions, or capital allocation processes

    • Background in infrastructure, energy, real assets, or related sectors
    • Experience improving or building governance processes and workflows
