Finance Manager - HQ

An exciting new opportunity has become available for an experienced Full Time Finance Manager to join our in-house finance department. Reporting into our CFO the Finance Manager oversees the Finance and Payroll department with an overarching responsibility to lead the strategic financial management of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Finance Team to prepare and maintain an accurate set of financial records to comply with the Australian Accounting Standards (AAS), global and internal accounting policies.
• Responsible for managing the balance sheet and accurate and adequate supporting documents.
• Manage all accounting operations including Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Budgeting, Inventory Management and Revenue reporting.
• Ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements and that the record keeping meets auditor’s requirements.
• Manage the oversight of financial systems and outputs that capture, analyse, interpret, and report on financial data.
• Produce high quality financial reports for review to CFO.
• Develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with internal stakeholders and manage their expectations and priorities with the teams.
• Effective assessment of changes in local and international regulatory standards and apply to meet regulatory requirements.
• Act as change agent to lead or participate in finance related transformations to policies, processes or systems. This will include local implementation of changes in accounting policies or regulatory reports.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax obligations, and internal company policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely delivery of supporting documentation.
• Streamline and enhance finance and administrative systems to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead the team to deliver on weekly payroll processing for local and international teams.
• Manage, lead and develop the finance team, with documented processes, succession planning and embedding a culture of accountability

About You:

• CPA or CA qualified, with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related discipline.
• 5–10 years’ experience in a senior finance leadership role within a global, multi-entity business.
• Proven experience in financial management across AR/AP, payroll (domestic and international), tax, budgeting, and compliance.
• Experience in managing internationally based team (Australia & Philippines)
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax obligations, and international regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP, with advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Skilled in managing offshore resources, with previous experience in retail and/or manufacturing highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, make sound decisions, and deliver projects to completion under pressure.
