Job Description
The Finance Leadership Program (FLP) is a two-year rotational program designed to expose high-potential recent graduates to a variety of real-world Finance, Accounting, and Business Intelligence (BI) topics in an enriching, supportive, and fast-paced environment. In each assignment, you will work alongside tenured members of White Cap’s growing finance team, including the following:
Financial Planning & Analysis
Operations Finance
Strategy Finance
Supply Chain Finance
Investor Relations
Treasury
M&A Accounting
Financial Reporting
Corporate Accounting
Operational Accounting
Business Intelligence
Data Science
Initial rotational assignments will be determined by White Cap’s Finance leadership team. Future assignments will consider each FLP participant’s interests and preferences. The duration of each assignment will be approximately six months. Successful Finance Leadership Program completion may result in permanent placement within one of our finance, accounting, or BI teams.
The immersive work experience will be complemented by a curriculum of seminars, lunch-and-learns, and networking opportunities with members of White Cap’s management team to help FLP participants develop critical skills outside of their specific rotational areas and build a broad-based network.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Supports the finance team and other critical functions in achieving its current and future business objectives.
Works with various departments in finance to analyze data for business initiatives.
Assists with preparing quarterly forecasts and annual strategic planning processes.
Performs research to provide recommendations on operational issues.
Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and normalizes disparate data from various internal and external sources to create comprehensive financial models for determining projections and trends.
Assists with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Prepares and analyzes journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
Assists with developing and preparing strategic and ad-hoc analyses and presentations.
Required Experience
Requires a BS/BA in business, finance, accounting, economics, MIS, or a related major from a four-year institution with a graduation date of August 2026 through June 2027. Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
Professional internship experience.
Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills required.
Ability to work full-time from our Atlanta offices (your actual work experience may be partially virtual).

Environmental Job Requirements
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong financial statement analysis and in-depth project/business valuation.
Experience with business intelligence and data analytics tools.
CPA eligibility or intent to pursue CPA certification - Required for accounting track.
