PPG is completing a multi-year finance transformation based on our SAP Central Finance (CFIN) implementation. We are expanding our team to enhance our CFIN environment. You will play a critical role in the support and optimization of SAP Central Finance (CFIN) solutions. We ask that you have a blend of financial knowledge, analytical skills, and technical expertise to help integrate financial data across several departments. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and provide insights that move strategic decision-making. You will report directly to CFIN IT Stream Lead.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure communication between finance teams, IT, and other teams to ensure understanding on project goals and deliverables.
Develop comprehensive business requirements, user stories, and process maps to guide the development teams.
Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to understand their needs and document functional and non-functional requirements for CFIN solutions.
Help configure CFIN systems to align with our requirements.
Provide training and support to end-users on CFIN systems and processes.
Conduct workshops and interviews to elicit detailed business requirements.
Specify and support reports and dashboards to provide insights into financial performance and operational efficiency.
Develop test cases and conduct system testing to ensure that solutions meet specified requirements and are free of defects.
Identify opportunities to improve and automate finance processes and help implement new finance technologies that align with organizational needs.
Provide technical support for finance-related systems, addressing user inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a finance or accounting environment.
Experience with financial processes and reporting.
Experience with Central Finance (CFIN) solutions or SAP FICO.
Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel, SQL, or similar.
Experience or Knowledge in mapping and working data from multiple sources using flat files, ETL tools or host to host connections.
Project management experience or Certification in Business Analysis is a plus.
An understanding of IT concepts, terminology and practical application of current and latest technologies.
Analytical abilities and technical skills to evaluate alternative approaches and to recommend the most sensible and economical solutions.
Ability to work with, present to, and influence our senior business leaders.
