You will support the implementation of the ICS FIN rotation plan, coordinate with international locations, help respond to day-to-day queries, and contribute to reports and documentation used by senior management and committees. This internship offers a practical opportunity to build your understanding of Finance control frameworks while working closely with experienced colleagues across the organisation.

  • Support the implementation of the ICS FIN rotation plan and learn how Finance controls are organised, tested and monitored.

  • Help plan and schedule control testing activities across Finance areas.

  • Track completed, ongoing and upcoming activities, and prepare clear summaries for the team.

International coordination and support desk

  • Coordinate with international locations and local Finance teams involved in executing ICS FIN controls.

  • Collect documentation, information and status updates, and follow up on open points.

  • Act as a first point of contact for routine ICS FIN questions related to processes, tools and documentation.

  • Guide users using existing procedures and escalate more complex topics when needed.

Reporting, risk assessment and documentation

  • Contribute to regular and ad hoc ICS FIN reports for senior management and committees.

  • Help prepare clear reporting material on control execution, findings and remediation status.

  • Support the annual ICS FIN Risk and Control Self-Assessment process.

  • Help coordinate timelines, participants, documentation requirements and stakeholder input.

  • Maintain ICS FIN documents, including control descriptions, procedures, guidelines and templates.

  • Suggest practical improvements to simplify processes, guidance documents and data quality.

Learning, collaboration and ad hoc support

  • Learn about internal controls, risk assessment, Finance processes and the role of ICS FIN within the Finance function.

  • Gain practical experience with tools used to document and monitor Finance controls.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across Finance, Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit.

  • Support ad hoc activities such as data checks, file organisation, presentations and simple analyses.

  • Provide organisational support to the ICS FIN team and gain insight into the day-to-day work of a Finance control function.
