Job Description
As a Finance intern you will get exposure to many different areas within finance, such as:
Month end reporting, Finance Budgeting, AP invoicing, Fixed asset accounting and Costing.
Role responsibilities:
- Work with site on Budget and Forecast preparation and drive Cost Governance on site
- Liase with the BSC on Vendor/Invoice Queries and drive resolutions
- Assist Finance Team with IDA grants and SOX Audits
- Preparation and inputting journals into financial systems. Assisting the financial accountant with Accruals & Prepayments
- Preparing month-end Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting Fixed Asset annual verification process
- Supporting month-end activities within finance department as required and directed by managers eg completion of government surveys
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
