About the role:
As a Finance Executive, you will play a key role in managing accounts payable processes to support the organization's financial operations. This role involves handling payments, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end closings.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage day-to-day operational tasks within the accounts department.
- Assist the Senior Finance Executive/Finance Manager with updating the cash book, issuing payments, raising POs, monthly account closings and arranging company secretarial documents.
- Prepare and maintain reports on payments, cash flow reconciliations and staff expense claims.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and financial service providers.
- Handle paperwork, filing and agreement updates while organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with team members and undertake additional duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least a professional Accounting qualification or a diploma in the related field.
- Relevant work experience (circa 1 year)
- Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamic GP software will be an added advantage.
- Well organized, ability to multi-task, good interpersonal skills and also possess good attitude when engaged in the tasks assigned.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of accuracy, presentation and attention to detail.
