- Update all bank transactions on a daily basis.
- Assign account codes to all transactions in the accounting system.
- Perform bank reconciliation, clearing account reconciliation and interco reconciliation on monthly basis.
- Compile the relevant business documentation used in banking processes.
- Enter accurate and timely data into the accounting system.
- Maintain accurate financial records and statements.
- Perform month-end closing activities.
- Maintain an audit schedule on a monthly basis to ensure that all schedules are tally with accounting records.
- Record and process all business transactions within the organisation's accounting system using principles of double-entry accounting.
- Record transactions and events relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and finance costs.
- Record transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash.
- Retrieve system reports from the accounting system for management use.
- Use relevant IT systems and tools effectively for data analysis.
- Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Knowledge of QuickBook is an added advantage.
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Sharp time management skills.
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
- Professional qualification in ACCA/LCCI is considered a plus
- Proficient in both written and spoken Mandarin and English. Open To Malaysians Only!
