Salary: £110,000 – £120,000 + performance bonus

What Makes This Role Different?
This is not a traditional finance role - it demands critical thinking, adaptability, and hands-on leadership to partner with the CEO and Board, navigate complexity, drive profitability, and create long-term value for Private Equity investors while actively supporting and developing the finance team.
Key Focus Areas:
- Commercialisation Driver: Transition the business focus from Capex optimisation to maximising profitability and minimising Opex while driving revenue growth.
- PE Investor Relationship: Act as the key financial point of contact, expertly managing reporting needs and expectations of our institutional Private Equity investors and Board.
- Financial Governance: Establish and enforce robust financial policies, risk management frameworks, continuous forecasting (Capex/Opex), and reliable financial modelling to support sound decision-making.
- Team & Systems: Provide guidance and management for the finance team, ensuring compliance with all financial, regulatory, and legal legislation.
- Leadership: Be an exceptional leader who empowers the finance team to thrive and develop.
What We’re Looking For
- Critical Thinker: Able to challenge assumptions and make data-driven decision.
- Private Equity Expertise: Strong track record in PE-backed businesses.
- Growth Phase Leadership: Experience scaling businesses during commercialisation.
- Qualification: Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- M&A Experience: Desirable but not essential.
- A background in Telecommunications or similar utilities is preferred but not essential. However, experience in a PE-backed, capital-intensive sector is required.

What We Do
