In 2019, we launched an AI-powered subscription service, the Furbo Pet Nanny, which sends smart alerts to our users to notify them to check on the safety of their furbabies when they are home alone. Since the launch of Furbo Pet Nanny, we have saved hundreds of pets' lives and are continuing to innovate and develop new features with our state-of-the-art technology.

Join Tomofun at an exciting stage as we continue to scale our global AIoT business and subscription services. As our Finance Director, you’ll partner closely with the cross functional leaders to shape financial strategy, drive business performance, and build a world-class finance organization.

In this role, you will:

• Partner with business leaders to drive strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and company-wide financial performance.
• Deliver meaningful financial insights and recommendations that support executive decision-making and long-term growth.
• Own P&L analysis and subscription unit economics (ARR/MRR, churn, retention, LTV/CAC, deferred revenue), and revenue recognition across hardware and subscription (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
• Collaborate with GMs and functional leaders across global offices to establish business targets, monitor KPIs, and improve financial outcomes.
• Lead and develop the Accounting & Finance team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, month-end close, and compliance with local and international accounting standards, including multi-entity consolidation and tax across our markets.
• Oversee audits, internal controls, and risk management to maintain strong financial governance.
• Drive AI adoption across finance - automating routine work, sharpening analysis, and raising data quality - to free the team to focus on strategic partnering.”
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and corporate governance standards.
• Partner closely with the Supply Chain & Operations team on cost, margin, inventory, and working-capital decisions.

We’re looking for a finance leader who combines strong technical expertise with commercial thinking and enjoys partnering with the business to drive impact.

You have:

• 12–15 years of progressive finance experience, including proven leadership as a Senior Manager, Director, or above — ideally as the senior finance lead for a business unit or entity in a growing, multi-market business.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, corporate finance, accounting, internal controls, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.
• Strategic and analytical, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and influence business decisions.
• A commercial partner and operator at heart — you shape business and investment decisions, not just report on them, and enjoy working closely with marketing, growth, product, and supply chain.
• Exposure to, or a strong appetite for, subscription / recurring-revenue business models and their economics.
• A collaborative leader with proven experience developing high-performing teams and driving organizational success.
• An AI-forward mindset: you proactively use AI-powered tools to automate workflows, enhance analysis, and improve decision-making, and you're curious about emerging technologies.
• Agile and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while continuously improving processes and embracing change.
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in both English and Mandarin.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CMA is a plus.
