The Finance Director is the senior finance leader for the capability, responsible for driving financial performance, commercial effectiveness, operational discipline and governance. As a key member of the capability leadership team, the role partners closely with client, operational and capability leaders to support profitable growth, optimise performance and ensure strong financial stewardship.
- Serve as the primary finance advisor to the Capability President and leadership team, providing insight and challenge on strategic, commercial and operational decisions.
- Lead financial planning and strategy to support growth, profitability and investment priorities.
- Act as the key liaison with Group Finance, ensuring alignment on budgets, forecasts, reporting requirements and business initiatives. Commercial Performance & Client Finance
- Own revenue, profitability, EBITDA, cash flow, forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning for the capability.
- Drive improvements in project profitability, utilisation, pricing strategy and overall commercial performance.
- Oversee financial governance across the client lifecycle, including contract review, revenue recognition, forecasting and billing.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, delivering clear recommendations and action plans to improve performance. Financial Control & Governance
- Support an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close activities.
- Maintain strong financial controls, balance sheet integrity and compliance with US GAAP, company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead local audit, tax and statutory compliance activities and serve as the senior finance escalation point for the capability.
- Promote a culture of accountability, governance and sound financial management. Cash Flow & Working Capital
- Lead cash forecasting and working capital management to maximise cash generation and liquidity.
- Partner with client teams to improve working capital -through billing, collections and receivables performance while controlling expenditure and reducing aged debt. Leadership & Team Development
