The Role

Carglass Netherlands is seeking a strategic Finance Director to join the Executive Team, reporting directly to the Managing Director. The Finance Director carries full end-to-end responsibility for the Dutch finance function and has a dotted line to the Finance Director Europe of Belron International. Beyond the national scope, the role has a meaningful interface with the broader Belron group at Eurozone and global level, contributing to initiatives including digital finance transformation, sustainability and alignment of financial standards.

This is not a traditional finance leadership role. Carglass is looking for someone who combines sharp financial expertise with genuine business partnership — a leader who thrives on influencing peers, challenging assumptions and translating financial insight into strategic direction. Someone credible, approachable and able to make the complex clear.

Requirements

• Master's degree (WO), RC qualification strongly preferred; MBA or equivalent is an advantage
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior, end-responsible finance leadership role — with full P&L and control accountability
• Proven experience within complex B2C organisations operating in an international matrix structure
• Track record of managing stakeholder relationships across borders and organisational layers
• Authentic, people-oriented leader with a demonstrated ability to coach, inspire and develop teams
• Commercially astute, with the drive to contribute actively to the broader business agenda
• Experienced in leading organisational transformations
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken
• International mindset and cultural sensitivity
