JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Finance Controller will be seconded to ADNNG (WFCH303), an Adient JV in China, as Finance Controller according to AOA of the JV, to strength financial control and provide business support for the JV
Responsibilities:
Work as business partner to GM, leading the financial operations of the related entity
- Ensure effective financial management of the business
- Manage the month-end financial reporting, forecast, profit plan and strategic plan of the related entity per the requirement from Adient
- Responsible for analyzing financial results with respect to profits, trends and costs, and monitor the financial performance of the business against approved budget
- Drives for operational and commercial improvement of the related entity
- Ensure the systems and procedures are in place to provide a strong internal control environment to maintain the integrity and the accuracy of the reported financial information
- Function as the key business partner to support the business growth
- Develop financial strategies to support the achievement of business growth
- Manage new business quotation to make sure the financial profitability of new business and return on investment meet Adient & JV BOD requirement
- Manage interface with internal and external auditors, and local tax authorities
- Build up the competence and capability of local finance team through coaching, training, mentoring and reorienting them toward the needs of the business
- Bachelor Degree or above
- 5-8 years’ experience in financial and business management, with at least 2 years at Finance Controller position
- Experience in manufacturing environment a must, automotive industry a plus
- CPA, ACCA or relevant qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in US GAAP, China GAAP, SOX implementation, Hyperion
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Detail oriented, and demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent English and Chinese language skills
