Mission of the Position:
The Financial Manager (hereinafter referred to as FM) is responsible for ensuring compliance with Magna's financial reporting standards, which are based on US GAAP, as well as Czech accounting standards.
The FM works with other departments to prepare forecasts and budgets. He/she explains deviations between actual financial results and the budget and forecasts.
The FM works closely with and supports his/her supervisor in various tasks leading to business decisions and supports his/her supervisor in ad hoc financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures compliance with financial reporting in accordance with Magna standards and Czech accounting standards.
• Prepares forecasts and budgets, explains deviations, and supports his/her supervisor in business decisions.
• Responsible for leading the entire local team in finance or other related areas affecting financial performance and reporting.
• Responsible for monthly reconciliation of financial results and preparation of reporting ("Flash report"), which is explained and communicated to his/her supervisor - the Director of Finance (Global Engineering) and direct supervisor.
• Maintains the corporate consolidation system (One Stream) with current monthly closing data imported from SAP, forecasts, and budgets.
• Prepares annual budgets, quarterly interim forecasts, and predictions.
• Responsibility for CAPEX reporting and maintaining an updated reporting system in Magna applications.
• Responsibility for implementing and maintaining the Magna control mechanism
• Ensuring that business and operational activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:
EDUCATION:

• University degree in finance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• English language proficiency: B2/ C1
• Knowledge of US GAAP and Czech accounting standards
• Knowledge of SAP FI-CO is an advantage
• Advanced skills in MS Excel
• Laws/regulations in the field of corporate finance, taxes and accounting
