KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
Business Partnering
- Serve as the key finance partner to the CFO, Chief Marketing Officer and Brand Mgmt.
- Develop a strong business partnering culture with the marketing, sales, and operations teams.
- Present key findings and recommendations to senior leadership team.
- Bring an ‘outside in’ perspective ensuring transparency of key market dynamics and brand performance and potential risks/opportunities.
Support Strategic Road map
- Effectively collaborate to develop and implement a 3-year road-map for Gross Margin and EBITDA improvement.
- Provide the financial insights and analysis to accelerate sales growth and profitability improvements.
Innovation Analysis
- Develop profit & loss statements for new product ideas & initiatives and ROI on key investments. Identify potential solutions to enhance profitability.
- Ensure clear identification of risks to delivering objectives and support development of key interventions and risk-mitigating plans.
Delivery of Brand P&L’s and Forecasts
- Ensuring delivery of brand profit and loss targets.
- Manage a regular rhythm of business performance diagnostics, the annual & strategic planning process & forecast process.
- Monitor brand platform and customer performance to identify P&L opportunities, challenge and build plans to improve profit and course correct where necessary.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential Criteria
- 8+ years of progressive experience in CPG or Food Industry
- Direct experience in Brand Finance
- B.A./B.S. in Finance or Accounting is required; MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Ability to consolidate the findings from ‘big data analyses’ into an efficient and effective narrative for business partners and leadership to support decision making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand alone and influence both up and down within and outside the organization.
- Build from scratch mentality with the ability to institute new standardized processes and establish a consistent, disciplined approach to how we operate.
- A drive, commitment and sense of urgency that inspires others to be their best and achieve results.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Basic Qualifications
Finance and Accounting qualifications. Demonstrated success in developing business cases (P&L, Cash, ROI) for innovation and for driving decisions to improve brand growth and profitability.
Desierable Criteria
Business Acumen, Strategic problem solving, Financial and analytical skill, Strong collaboration, and communication skills – able to translate complex finance analytics for a non-financial team.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION
Base starting salary at $89,000/yr. The Base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
