Description: The company is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant Manager to oversee all aspects of accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation. Responsibilities of the position include:

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • 1) By working with Site/Shared Service Center/Platform/HQ members, initiate the periodical closing/ planning/control and manage the progress.
  • 2) By providing effective/timely analysis, support various decision-making done by the management team.
  • 3) Provide various analytical supports for the periodical closing done by the Finance members in Sagamihara.
  • 4) Take a lead in compiling J GAAP/ J tax book utilizing ERP system’s ability.
  • 5) Provide regular/ad-hoc support for Finance Director and Site Controller.

 Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor degree.
  • 7+ years of relevant.
  • 5+ years of experience working in manufacturing company. Preferable in high-tech manufacturing company.
  • Language: Japanese – Fluent. English – Business level (TOEIC score 700 or above)
  • Experience in US GAAP and SOX. US CPA license will be advantage. 
  • Proficient in using MS Office and Oracle or SAP.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially those relating to accounting software.
  • Able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
