• Preferred location for this position is Cleveland, OH or Columbus, OH. Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices for consideration
• Office Options: Hybrid. Team members residing within a 45-minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive the month-end, quarter-end, and annual close processes with precision and efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Lead balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, optimizing cash flow and supporting our collection processes.
• Oversee expense report compliance and policy adherence, championing best practices and ensuring alignment with company standards.
• Harness the power of data analytics and predictive reporting to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Innovate and automate finance processes using AI and cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Other special projects, as directed by Finance leadership

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related business subject
• 1-3 years’ of professional work experience in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Operations
• Passion for driving innovation and automation, including an understanding of Microsoft Copilot, as well as other AI and automation tools
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Growth mindset, eagerness to learn and innovate
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

Nice-to-Haves:

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Exposure to accounting software or ERP systems, Certinia is a plus
• Experience with month-end close activities
• Exposure to financial reporting and analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passion for an evolving technology landscape
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
