We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Associate/Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a finance administrative role within a company (not consultancy), preferably with experience in Shared Services Centers. This individual contributor role offers an excellent opportunity to grow into a Finance Controller position at Idoven.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Responsibilities:
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes (invoicing, payment follow-up, vendor reconciliation).
- Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain petty cash records.
- Help with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations.
- Track and organize receipts, invoices, and financial documents.
- Support payroll preparation and expense claim processing.
- Assist with budget tracking and variance analysis.
- Liaise with external auditors or accountants as needed.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain organized financial filing systems (digital and physical).
- Manage document control for finance-related records.
- Coordinate with other departments for information sharing and document submission.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure financial practices comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Assist in preparing documents for tax filing, audits, and statutory reporting.
- Help maintain internal controls and update finance procedures as directed.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a finance administrative role within a company (not consultancy). Experience in Shared Services Centers is a plus. Experience in a SaaS environment is a plus.
- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with SAP or NetSuite is a plus.
- Languages: Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Spanish is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a team player with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
