ROLE SUMMARY: This position will perform general clerical and technical work supporting the accounting function. Work is focused on the traditional Accounts Payable functions and is largely monitored, but not supervised.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage invoices/vendor management (including training managers) in XtraCHEF.

Serves as main POC for IT exports, GL coding issues, researching errors in XtraCHEF.

Manually enter invoices when needed (Obeer).
-
Manually create Purchase Orders when needed (Obeer).
-
Manually enter items in support of bank reconciliation (Obeer).
-
Maintain excel reporting, including pivot tables and more advanced Excel functions.

Maintains files, account records, and other records pertaining to the accounting function.
-
Edits and assists in correcting errors in the process of coding. Assists in bookkeeping and record control systems.

Other admin duties as directed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Undergraduate degree in a business field, preferably Accounting, or related experience.

2+ years of accounting experience providing information to management.

General knowledge of bookkeeping terminology and methods.
-
General knowledge of standard office procedures.
-
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Ability to maintain complex and confidential financial records.
-
Ability to make mathematical computations quickly and accurately.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office related software.

Must be able to use Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and shared drives.

Must have strong Excel experience and skills.

Must have experience with and be able to quickly navigate IT systems.

Conducts work in a sitting position; however, job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and light lifting.
