Job Description
We are seeking a talented Finacle Developer - Product Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our core banking solutions using the Finacle platform, contributing to the evolution of our financial products and services.
- Design, develop, and maintain Finacle-based banking applications and modules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement new features and customize existing functionalities within the Finacle core banking solution
- Optimize system performance and ensure scalability of banking applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the production environment
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development
- Stay updated with the latest Finacle releases and banking industry trends
- Develop and maintain API integrations with internal and external systems
- Assist in the creation of technical documentation and user guides
- Support the testing and deployment processes for new releases and updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in Finacle development and customization
- Strong programming skills in Java, SQL, and PL/SQL
- Proficiency in working with database management systems
- In-depth knowledge of banking processes and the financial services industry
- Experience with API development and integration
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Finacle certification is preferred
- Experience in product engineering or software development is highly desirable
- Domain expertise in core banking systems and financial product development
