The Financial Analyst III supports the corporate finance department of Deaconess Health System under the direction of the Manager of Financial Decision Support and Budgeting. This role will assist in the annual budget preparation, financial projections, variance analysis, cross-functional financial consulting, and financial system maintenance.
Job Duties:
- Maintain financial systems including, but not limited to, budgeting, management reporting, strategic planning, capital, cost accounting, and continuous improvement modules.
- Work with department and entity leaders to help set hospital strategic direction through provision of information and insight.
- Provide training to Level I and Level II staff.
- Provide training to clinical and operational leaders.
- Compile and present ad hoc financial analysis.
- Analyze complex financial trends and scenarios.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, CPA/CMA preferred
- 3-5 years work experience required
- Public Accounting or Corporate Finance related experience preferred
- Healthcare Industry knowledge desired
