Film & TV Team Internship (Spring Semester)

Hello Sunshine is a media brand and content company dedicated to female authorship and storytelling across all platforms. Hello Sunshine produces feature films and television shows as well as unscripted series, audio storytelling and social series under the Hello Sunshine brand. It is also the home of Reese’s Book Club, one of the largest social book clubs in America. All of Hello Sunshine’s efforts are anchored by a singular mission: to change the narrative for women.

Team Hello Sunshine is seeking a motivated intern to join our Film/TV Development Department this Spring semester! This is a unique opportunity to work alongside our team, contribute to the development of exciting projects, and gain insight into the creative process from idea to screen.

What You Will Do

• Dive into scripts and books, providing thoughtful coverage and analysis.
• Help maintain and update internal talent tracking grids.
• Support administrative staff with research projects—and possibly assist with desk coverage.
• Stay in the know! Aggregate industry news from the trades and compile a daily updates email for the team.

What We Are Looking For

• You’ve had previous internships or experience in Film/TV and are eager to build on that foundation.
• You’re smart, driven, and ready to learn about the ins and outs of development in a fast-paced environment.
• You thrive on details, have a can-do attitude, and can juggle multiple tasks with ease.
• You love reading and have a knack for identifying what stories have adaptation potential—and you’re comfortable writing coverage to share your insights.

To Apply

• This internship is located in Los Angeles, California and interns must provide their own relocation, housing and transportation.
• Interns can work up to a maximum of 24 hours/week.
• All internships are paid.
• Applicants must be over the age of 18 and going into their JR Year or further in Undergrad, a Graduate Student, or Recent Graduate.
