THE ROLE: 

The In-Field Rep Manager contributes to a team of In-Field Representatives to gather data to procure and generate revenue on the B2B side of our business. In this role, you will support the B2B sales team in executing the monthly, quarterly, and annual strategic growth initiatives for Aventon products. 


What You'll Do:

  • Learn the Aventon brand product line and proactively reach out to partners to support our products 
  • Re-enforce dedication to partnerships with bike shops, outdoor brands, and sporting goods stores; maintain partner relationships 
  • Document and present partner feedback – owner, sales, mechanic, customer, etc.
  • Understand, anticipate, and communicate the onsite findings of our wholesale partners.
  • Strategize In-Field Reps agendas to prioritize growth and revenue
  • Responsible for ensuring monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue goals
  • Partner with the team and empower/coach them to solve problems with onsite partners
  • Provide ongoing training to the In-Field Rep team and ensure adequate product knowledge and sales tactics
  • Be equipped with both Aventon merchandise and small parts to increase onsite visit satisfaction
  • Strategically identify partners in need of a site visit, who will greatly benefit from time investment
  • Prepare and present monthly reports to the Leadership Team – identify learnings and action items

Qualifications:

  • Must be located in Illinois
  • Demonstrated experience as a sales professional generating multi-million dollars in revenue; sales within the mobility / sporting goods space are highly preferred 
  • Experience leading and growing a team of B2B sales professionals
  • Internet-savvy and comfortable with office applications (PC/Mac, word processor, spreadsheet, web browsers, mobile devices)
  • Motivated self-starter who will be proactive in finding new partners, growing the team, and generating revenue for the company
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail (spelling, grammar) a must.
  • Excellent verbal communication, ample time will be spent on the phone with customers
  • Ability to travel for Bike Shop Visits, Trade Shows, Industry Events, etc. (Travel about 40% of the time)
  • Demonstrate follow-through and ability to accomplish initiatives
  • “Can do” attitude and problem-solving skills
