As a Field Operator - PPS, you will be part of a team providing resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems. You will support all pre-commissioning and maintenance work including mobilization to our clients' sites.

Duties will include working in shifts, onshore or offshore, and on scopes of work of varying sizes (several days to several weeks/months). They will be involved with Nitrogen Services (Purging, Leak Testing, Pipeline Displacements), and Environmental Services (Chemical Cleaning, Decontamination, Waste Gas Flaring, Gas Recompression). 

As Field Operator you wil be reposible for: 

• Ensuring timely execution of work, instructions and directions from the Operations Manager or Job Supervisor
• Participating in pre-job briefing and ensure familiarisation with the workscope with the team.
• Assembling pipes, hoses and pumping equipment using hand tools and mechanical lifting equipment with minimal supervision
• Monitoring and operating equipment on site to assure proper flow/temperature/pressure and operational conditions are safe and to customer satisfaction.
• Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values, adopting a strong safety culture as well as a continuous quality improvement approach to the performance of PPS Services

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a technical hands-on background.
• Good computer skills, good communication skills (written and spoken English)
• Self-starter who is a team player, yet capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Excellent safety attitude is a must. Must participate in all Company safety programs and adhere to all policies. 

Location:

Netherlands based, and able to work Europe.
