The position
In this role, you will lead the Field Medical Affairs (FMA) team by setting clear directions, provide coaching, mentorship, and support, to achieve the business goals and build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). This position will directly report to the Clinical, Medical, Regulatory (CMR) Director.
The main scope of accountabilities includes but is not limited to:

  • Define the Field Medical Affairs (FMA) strategy aligned with the affiliate strategy and business needs. Ensure the team fully aware and aligns with the medical strategy. Also, ensure the execution of a dedicated field medical plan to fulfil the scientific communication and affiliate business objectives. Regularly review and modify the FMA action plan during implementation.
  • Taking ownership and accountability for unit budget and timeline control.
  • Designing a scientific dialogue approach to educate, inspire, and influence KOLs' thinking and behaviour to improve disease management. Sharing and leveraging knowledge and medical insights to enable valuable and deeper KOL engagements.
  • People management, coaching, and competency development; providing coaching and continuous feedback to the team to ensure their accomplishments towards team and own goals. Organizing and conducting FMA training (internal or external) to fulfil the organization's needs and build expertise within the team
  • Ensure timely reporting of customer complaints, adverse events, and other safety reports in accordance with NN Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure that all NN's sponsored activities and promotional tools/ materials are in line with the compliance and regulations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy, Healthcare, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in a pharmaceutical company/ healthcare industry with at least 1 year of people management experience with demonstrated results. Field Medical Affairs' experience is a must.
  • Good knowledge in Thai pharmaceutical industry and regulations. Have good networking and strong KOL relationships.
  • Strong communication expertise and thorough knowledge of NN therapeutic areas. Proficient in setting direction & strategy, high performing mindset and in leading and coaching the team.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English in addition to fluency in Thai.
