Lexion is a fast-growing, fun, venture-backed startup founded at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence. We raised our Series B in April 2023, backed by Point72 Ventures and Citi Ventures, and we’re on a mission to help every team get deals done faster.

Our team is made up of world-class NLP experts, seasoned large-scale product builders, and veterans of Amazon, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and SurveyMonkey. AI investors (including A16Z, Sequoia, and Goldman Sachs) voted Lexion as one of the top 40 Intelligent Applications to watch in 2022—and we’re trusted by brands like Outreach, OfferUp, Brooks Running and more.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to be an early member of the Lexion team, build category-defining products, and make a real impact in tech.

 The Role

Lexion is looking for a results-oriented Field Marketing & Events Manager to create and manage in-person experiences, targeted sales programs and virtual events. You will collaborate closely with Legal, Sales and Marketing stakeholders to design and implement programs that will promote the Lexion brand, and ultimately drive pipeline and revenue growth for the business. The Field Marketing & Events Manager will join a growing marketing team and will be expected to drive impact quickly.

What You’ll Do

  • Orchestrate all workstreams included in the execution of Lexion events, including sponsorship deliverables, speaker and content coordination, hosted dinner logistics and virtual experiences.
  • Own both the creation and execution of unique sales plays and offers to drive pipeline, including event activations, incentive/direct mail campaigns, executive offers and other high-impact programs.
  • Research and recommend valuable conferences and events for Lexion to attend or host and manage the contracting, budgeting, and negotiation process.
  • Coordinate all deliverables needed for events, including booth set up, swag purchases, travel logistics, attendance enablement, etc.
  • Enable Sales on Marketing programs, focusing on event or sales play promotion and activation, as well as ensuring prompt follow up on all MQLs.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholder teams, including AEs, BDRs, Sales Leadership, Marketing, Legal, etc.
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to ensure leads are converting to pipeline and aggregate stakeholder feedback and determine what can be improved moving forward.

What We Look For

  • 5+ years of experience in both the strategy build and execution of events in a B2B environment
  • A proven track record of meeting targets, and creating value through events, including data from previous events you’ve run that show ROI
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Vast experience negotiating event and vendor contracts
  • Experience working collaboratively with multiple internal teams and stakeholders
  • Strong writing and communication skills

Familiarity with Marketo and Outreach for creating email campaigns and sales plays (preferred)

Examples of creative, out-of-the-box ideas you’ve executed before (preferred)

(And a note to those of you who read this far and are worried you might not be qualified. Apply anyway. You might be just the person we're looking for.)

What We Offer

  • A fast-paced, inclusive and collaborative environment
  • Medical, dental and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Unlimited Vacation
  • Paid parental leave
  • Equity
  • Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 plus bonus
