Wachter is accepting applications for a Traveling Field Manager. This position provides project management and operational support.

Requirements:
- College Education preferred, although not required.
- Experience in Fire/Burg Alarm is a MUST; CCTV or Access Control is a plus.
- Experience working with engineered drawings, bid specifications, and construction take-offs is helpful.
- Basic understanding of supply chain facilities within the low voltage industry
- Experience running multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient with the use of computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Must type at least 40 WPM.
Responsibilities
- Full time weekly travel role: travel to different projects in a designated region
- While at a project the Field Fire Alarm Manager will:
- Check the quality of the physical install
- Do project kick offs and scope clarification walks
- Work with Site Contacts to develop relationships and built trust between Wachter and the customer
- Check progress of install by the contractor against the timeline of the overall project
- Any other tasks deemed necessary by the in office Security Manager team
- Field Managers will report onsite findings back to the in office Security Managers so that those managers can speak accurately about the project with the customer.
